Our government’s first duty is to its people, to our citizens—to serve their needs, to ensure their safety, to preserve their rights, and to defend their values.
– Donald Trump, US President
The above statement was quoted by President Trump on Monday in an event where He revealed the National security strategy to the American public. Trump, often considered as the most notorious leader of United States is been said to form this strategy on the basis of 11 months of his experience in the presidency. In the USA, publication of the NSS is being considered as the milestone for any presidency. A statutorily mandate document, this strategy is a complete reflection and explanation of president’s belief and vision for the American public, US Allies and partners, and the federal agencies on what are the priorities of US President regarding the security of the nation.

Raising firm voice against the terrorism prevailing around the world He urged our neighbor Pakistan to take decisive action against the terrorism and curb extremists in the country. Taking a dig at the DPRK, Trump further added that Washington had “no choice” but to deal with alarming North Korean threats.
Addressing the point of Global competition, Trump directly pointed the fingers at Russia and China. As stated in the National Security Strategy, “China and Russia are determined to make world economy less free and less fair, to grow their militaries, and to control information and data to repress their societies and expand their influence. President Trump defines China as a “revisionist” power, reflecting the administration worry that Bezing is trying to rewrite the rules in order to match it’s own economic and global interests.
